How it works

1. Text

Your documents become plain text and are cut into small fragments, with a little overlap.

2. Vectors

An embedding model, running locally, turns every fragment into a vector.

3. Database

Text, vector and source are stored together, with indexes for meaning, filters and keywords: hybrid search.

4. Answers

An MCP server lets Claude and other assistants search the knowledge base and get the text back with its source.
